atlantide

For the MNM Festival opening, on February 26, I’ll have the pleasure to take part, with the Société de musique contemporaine du Québec, in the revival of the myth of Atlantis during a titanic concert conducted by Walter Boudreau. No less than 15 singers and 23 musicians will dive in by your side in order to interpret this renowned work by Michel-Georges Brégent, based on the Greek myth of a sunken city which has inspired countless musicians. Echoing current environmental concerns while immersing the listeners in new technologies, Atlantide draws us into a veritable whirlwind of emotions and melodies evoking the end of time, while nonetheless retaining a note of hope!

Also on the programme: works by Yan Breuleux, Soizic Lebrat, John Cage and a documentary film by Raymond Gervais.
