Frédéric Demers performs the traditional concertos with style and feeling. He suggests more intimate versions thanks to the sweet, rounded tone of the cornet, as shown in Neruda’s Concerto in E-flat major. He also presents, for various chamber-music ensembles, new arrangements of traditional concertos, such as Böhme’s Concerto in F minor, Op. 18, for cornet and brass quartet and for cornet and wind quintet, as well as the Neruda Concerto in E-flat major for wind quintet.
